The road
Day 1 Tbilisi → Sadakhlo border → Bagratashen → Yerevan (about 6 h with the border). Day 2 Garni temple and Geghard monastery, back to Yerevan. Day 3 free day in Yerevan (no car). Day 4 Lake Sevan (Sevanavank) and Dilijan, back to Yerevan. Day 5 Yerevan → Bagratashen → Sadakhlo → Tbilisi.
Worth stopping
- Border day: our Georgian driver takes you to the Sadakhlo checkpoint (about 1.5 h from Tbilisi). You walk through both passport controls with your bags (usually 20–60 minutes); our Armenian partner driver waits at Bagratashen with a sign with your name and drives you on. Sadakhlo–Bagratashen is open 24 hours.
