Shuttle bus
Georgia’s national tourism site names two airport shuttle operators, Georgian Bus and Omni Bus, with timetables matched to flights and tickets online. A recent travel guide lists Georgian Bus at 25 GEL one way and about 4 hours; the tourism site says about 3 hours. Late flights may not have a bus.
Train
Trains to Tbilisi leave from the Kutaisi Airport or Rioni stations, taking about 3.5–5.5 hours depending on the service; fares depend on the class. You still need a ride from Tbilisi station to your address.
When a private car makes sense
Groups of three or more, children, ski bags, night arrivals or stops on the way (Gori, Uplistsikhe). The driver meets you with a name sign and drives door to door; price per car, fixed in advance.
